Krakow here we come!

Sunday 24th January sees the very early start to a 4 day History trip to Krakow,
Poland for a group of Y10 and Y11 students who will be accompanied by 4 members of staff including Miss Wilson and Mr Marsh from the History department.

Flying out from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, the trip will include a trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp to witness the human
tragedy and courageous legacy of the Holocaust.

The trip will also visit two Krakow museums and students will have the opportunity to meet and talk with a Holocaust survivor
– a real example of living history.

The students and staff will return to school on Wednesday 27th January – Holocaust Memorial Day and a memorial event will take
place the following evening at The Albion Academy for invited guests.
